America, Islam, and the Danger of Thinking Everything is Alright

As of this writing the United Sates has won the war in Iraq (4/12/03). After the September 11, 2001 attacks the U.S. uncovered that Al Qaeda terrorists (a fanatical branch of Islam) were responsible based in Afghanistan. We went there and took out the Taliban that supported and harbored the Al Qaeda terrorists. The U.S. and our allies won that campaign and had Al Qaeda on the run.

Since then we have moved aggressively to Iraq. The case was made that Iraq was not complying with the U.N. Then that they were not abiding by U.N. resolution 1441 stating, "it will face serious consequences" if it continues to violate its obligations as spelled out in the resolution. Then we said Iraq has weapons of mass destruction. Then we said this is a brutal regime and we need to set the Iraqi people free. From then on its been they have WMD (weapons of mass destruction) and we need to set the Iraqi people free.

America

Let me say right off I love and support my country. I do and always will support our brave troops. I believe we are the best trained, best equipped, best informed military in the world. Our intelligence services are the best ever. Our armed forces have done and will continue, with the divine help of God Almighty, protect our nation and our earthly freedom. I am a proud American and love my country very much. But often times we get ourselves into things we should leave alone.

I need to make a clear prediction that is important for all of us to understand. Listen carefully: The American Revolution was justified. The American Civil War was justified (see http://www.kingshouse.org/civilwar.htm). WW1 and WW2 were justified. The Korean War was questionable. The Vietnam War was questionable. The Persian Gulf War #1 was justified. Afghanistan was justified. And the war with Iraq was questionable. Having said all that, we need to know that this may well be the beginning of WW4.

This idea is already coming out as the following shows.

"The loose-knit group, whose core includes Vice President Cheney, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and his deputy, Paul Wolfowitz, sees the war in Iraq as a model for the world's lone superpower. The group believes that with or without international consensus, the United States should move with force to pre-empt security threats and spread democracy and free-market economics to remaining pockets of authoritarianism, primarily in the Middle East. While U.S. officials emphasize the enormity of the tasks that need to be completed in Iraq, some administration supporters already are proclaiming the birth of a new historical period and suggesting that regime change in Iraq could be followed soon by Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. James Woolsey, a member of a Pentagon advisory board and former CIA director who is close to Wolfowitz, told students in Los Angeles last week that the Cold War was World War III and the United States is now engaged in "World War IV" against Iran's religious rulers, "fascists" in Iraq and Syria, and Islamic extremists." (USA TODAY, 4/10/03)

"We appear to be moving at last from the post-Cold War era ... to the time of an enduring Pax Americana," says Thomas Donnelly, a resident fellow at the conservative American Enterprise Institute. Borrowing a line from Secretary of State Dean Acheson, an architect of the global realignment that followed World War II, Donnelly says, "we are present at the creation" of a truly new world order. Even as war continues in Iraq, Bush administration officials have made threatening statements about other countries the White House considers as threats. John Bolton, the hawkish undersecretary of State, told an AIPAC convention last week, that "in the aftermath of Iraq, dealing with the Iranian nuclear weapons program will be of equal importance as dealing with the North Korean nuclear weapons program." Barbara Slavin, USA TODAY, 4/10/2003

"The focus now is Iraq, but there's a Big Picture feel to things. Alliances shattering, new ones forming. International institutions in crisis. Millions under arms in the Middle East, Asia, Europe -- fighting, or ready to. A nuclear standoff on the Subcontinent. Terrorist networks spanning 60 nations. Hideous new technologies. Ideological hatred. Already, thousands of Americans have been slaughtered. The president warns that no nation harboring terrorists is safe, designates North Korea, Iran and Iraq as members of an "axis of evil" that includes "at least a dozen countries" with terrorist training camps and "their terrorist allies." "We're at war," he declares, referring to more than Iraq as he advances a new doctrine of military preemption to replace the old Cold War doctrines of containment and deterrence. "Americans should not expect one battle, but a lengthy campaign unlike any other we have ever seen." (The Fire This Time, To Some Scholars, Iraq's Just Part of Something Bigger, By Phil McCombs, Washington Post Staff Writer, Sunday, April 13, 2003; Page F01)

"World War IV might be in the making," warns Dennis K. McBride, president of the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, a technological think tank that does a lot of federal defense work. "We do not have to assume that a world war necessarily includes mobilization of millions of troops, exchange of millions of tons of explosives. . . . World War IV may end this way [but] it certainly might not germinate this way."

"President Bush made news with his idea of an "Axis of Evil," including North Korea, ruled by "Dear Leader" Kim Jong Il, above; a Palestinian militant with a grenade and headband reading "Muhammad the prophet of Allah" illustrates the crisis of the Muslim world as fundamentalists struggle for control." (Kevin Clark -- The Washington Post)

"Too wild? Maybe, yet some thought Saddam Hussein was behind the post-9/11 anthrax attacks, and you can't help but notice that the killer virus SARS began its rampage as the United States was invading Iraq."

"Cohen's ideas pack a wallop. President Bush read his book "Supreme Command: Soldiers, Statesmen, and Leadership in Wartime" while on vacation last summer. It tells how Lincoln, Clemenceau, Ben-Gurion and Churchill stuck to the big picture, overriding timid generals… The thinking of strategists like these, it's said, drives the Bush administration's global planning."

"I'm more worried about American culture," says Victor Davis Hanson, who teaches military history at the U.S. Naval Academy. World War IV may come, he says, but right now, "I'm worried about the rise of radical pacificism among a bored, pampered elite." (quotes from the Washington Post, Sunday 4/13/03)

This is something to think about. What if we went from nation to nation using the idea of terrorists and the "war on terror" to rid the world of them? What if we are in WW4? How would you respond? As a Christian what should you do? Are we to be concerned for nations on the earth? —Jesus said, "my kingdom is not of this world" if you are His then its your kingdom He's talking about too. Governments will collide, nations will fight, and wars and rumors of wars will happen just as our Lord said. However, our concern is to be about our Father's business and go out as God sent Jesus so He sends us. That is declare the Gospel!

As far as women in military, they keep saying they go in because of the education opportunities and move up the economic ladder some do, maybe some. Most go in because it is in their polluted liberal mind to storm every bastion of manhood, and the U.S. military is one of them. Bottom line women in the military in any role, besides nursing, doctors, or support is a clear sign of a weak military and or at least appear that way in the minds of other countries.

So call me overreacting or paranoid of governments including our own, but we need to understand that there is more going on than what the liberal news and information show us. In the wake of the UN disagreements, which I knew was always brewing, but it was never brought out publicly until then what country and nation can you trust? None really. And were not called to.

The European countries are struggling to keep up economically and have become so liberal in their thinking and political views they can't be trusted. The African and South American countries are so poor and ravaged by diseases they're struggling to keep up. The Arab countries have a plan, and we may not know what it is—one can speculate it's the total destruction of America and the west. The differences and conflicts they have with their Muslim faith and Christianity spur this on.

China and the Asian countries can't be trusted they never could be. They can be a brutal people, and have also a plan, secret of course, to destroy America. They are like the Russians willing to wait for as long as need be to accomplish this. The Russians are as the Chinese can't be trusted and we'll never be able to. They to have some kind of secret plan to destroy the United States. And they too are willing to wait for as long as need be to accomplish this. We know we have a kingdom that cannot be destroyed which is eternal in the heavens safe with our master Jesus Christ!

Islam

Before we get into this section you may be thinking "Oh, brother more on Islam I'm tired of hearing about it" you know what? I am too. So this section will be short but to the point. We must understand and not be fooled. Read this section very carefully you MUST understand the information here to understand what is happening and will happen. Many today say that Islam and the followers of it, called Muslims, are peaceful and loving people. That may be true for some, but there are a large number that are in their own personal jihad (holy war) with either themselves, America, or Israel.

#1 - Conservative estimates usually put the number of Muslims at between 900 million and 1.3 billion in the world. Christianity is number one with over two billion in the world. So the point is there is a very large number of Muslims in the world. In other words this is no small group were talking about—it is classified as one of the three largest religions Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism.

#2 - We must understand Christianity and Islam are not compatible. Islam is against Christianity on many positions, but the most compelling is its rejection of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and God Himself. This alone makes Islam an enemy of Christianity and its adherent's candidates for evangelism.

The following must be read carefully.

Before we all start running off and embracing Islam as ok we need to examine what it teaches about Jesus and Christianity.

"The resentment of the US has spread through societies demoralized by their recent history. In few of the world's 50 or so Muslim countries have governments offered their citizens either prosperity or democracy. Arab nations have lost three wars against their arch-foe - and America's closest ally - Israel. A sense of failure and injustice is rising in the throats of millions. From one end of the region to the other, the perception is that Israel can get away with murder - literally - and that Washington will turn a blind eye. It only keeps going on and on until the Muslim empire swallows every empire existing. Saeed has become another shahid, a martyr and heroic defender of the Muslims against the enemies of Islam. if we need to fight against the United States in Afghanistan we are ready, because we are Muslims. It is our duty to fight against any infidels who are threatening our Muslim brothers." (Christian Science Monitor, Sept. 27, 2001)

After reading the above we should not be fooled it's not about America being perceived as a world bully or anything like that, its truth (Christianity) and falsehood (Islam) are at odds.

"It is our duty to fight against any infidels who are threatening our Muslim brothers… It only keeps going on and on until the Muslim empire swallows every empire existing."

Those are pretty scary words to freedom loving people, but that’s what they have been led to believe.

"Muslims do believe that Isa (A.S.) was sent down as a Prophet of Allah (God), but he (Jesus) is not God or Lord, nor the son of God. Muslims do not believe that Isa (A.S.), also known as Jesus by Christians and others, is dead or was ever crucified. We believe that he was raised to heaven and is there, and will descend at the appointed time, end all wars, and bring peace to the world. Like Jesus (A.S.), Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is also a Prophet and Messenger. Muhammed (P.B.U.H.) is the last Prophet, though, and there is none after him. Hence, Islam is the last religion, complete, with the Holy Qur'an as the unchanged and perfect word of God for over 1400 years, as God promised to preserve it till the last day for all of humankind, unlike sacred texts of other religions which have mulitple versions and are "revised" periodically. God, or Allah in Arabic, is Divine and Supreme Being and Creator." (Mufti A.H. Elias, www.islam.tc, Isa/Jesus A.S.)

They slew him not, nor did they crucify him but it was made dubious to them. (Holy Qur'an, Surah Nisaa, Verse 157)

"Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) himself told of the coming of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

They attempt to use John 14:15,16; 15:26,27; 16:12-14.

Ulema (learned scholars in Islam) have said that the person who is described by Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) to come after him - in the above verse - does not comply with any other person but Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)." (Mufti A.H. Elias, www.islam.tc, Isa/Jesus A.S.)

This is crazy and totally untrue. It's clear from ancient testimony, the Scriptures, and nature itself that these Biblical verses speak of none other than the Holy Spirit not Mohammed.

"The "person" whom Jesus (A.S.) prophecised will come after him, is called Pargaleeta in the Bible. This word was deleted by interpreters and translators and changed at times to "Spirit of Truth" and at other times, to "comforter" and sometimes "Holy Spirit." The original Greek and its meaning is "one whom people praise exceedingly." The sense of the word, then, is applicable to the word Muhammad in Arabic, since Muhammad means 'the praised one.'" (Mufti A.H. Elias, www.islam.tc, Isa/Jesus A.S.)

This is ridiculous someone needs to go back to Theology School! The Greek word parakletos means comforter, advocate, or one that comes along side. Not "the one whom people praised"? That is sloppy Greek and twisted Theology.

What does the Qur'an teach?

"And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers." (Quran, the cow chapter, 2:191)

"O you who believe! spend out of what We have given you before the day comes in which there is no bargaining, neither any friendship nor intercession, and the unbelievers-- they are the unjust." (Quran, the cow chapter, 2:254)

"And repentance is not for those who go on doing evil deeds, until when death comes to one of them, he says: Surely now I repent; nor (for) those who die while they are unbelievers. These are they for whom we have prepared a painful chastisement. Those who are niggardly and bid people to be niggardly and hide what Allah has given them out of His grace; and We have prepared for the unbelievers a disgraceful chastisement. And when you journey in the earth, there is no blame on you if you shorten the prayer, if you fear that those who disbelieve will cause you distress, surely the unbelievers are your open enemy." (Quran, the women chapter, 4:18,37,101)

"And when Allah promised you one of the two parties that it shall be yours and you loved that the one not armed should he yours and Allah desired to manifest the truth of what was true by His words and to cut off the root of the unbelievers. this-- taste it, and (know) that for the unbelievers is the chastisement of fire. This, and that Allah is the weakener of the struggle of the unbelievers." (Quran, the accessions chapter, 8:7,14,18)

"O Prophet! Strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination. And let not their property and their children excite your admiration; Allah only wishes to chastise them with these in this world and (that) their souls may depart while they are unbelievers It did not beseem the people of Medina and those round about them of the dwellers of the desert to remain behind the Apostle of Allah, nor should they desire (anything) for themselves in preference to him; this is because there afflicts them not thirst or fatigue or hunger in Allah's way, nor do they tread a path which enrages the unbelievers, nor do they attain from the enemy what they attain, but a good work is written down to them on account of it; surely Allah does not waste the reward of the doers of good; O you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil)." (Quran, the Immunity chapter, and 9:73,85,120,123)

"So do not follow the unbelievers, and strive against them a mighty striving with it." (Quran, the Distinction chapter, 25:52)

"And whoever does not believe in Allah and His Apostle, then surely we have prepared burning fire for the unbelievers. Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the unbelievers..." (Quran, the Victory chapter, 4:13,29)

Beloved, it's clear Islam is not compatible with Christianity, and is an enemy of Jesus Christ. The quote below, from their own beliefs, prove it.

"Muslims do believe that Isa (A.S.) [Jesus] was sent down as a Prophet of Allah (God), but he (Jesus) is not God or Lord, nor the son of God. Muslims do not believe that Isa (A.S.), also known as Jesus by Christians and others, is dead or was ever crucified." (Mufti A.H. Elias, www.islam.tc, Isa/Jesus A.S.)

This is totally contrary to Biblical Theology, and places Islam as a world religion polemic to Christianity.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God." (John 1:1,2)

"No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him]." (John 1:18)

"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." (John 8:58)

"Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." (1 Corinthians 2:8)

" Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." (Philippians 2:6-8)

"And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." (Revelation 19:16)

Some will say but Islam teaches that the Quran is God's final word to mankind? Just as we say that of the Bible.

"Islam is the last religion, complete, with the Holy Qur'an as the unchanged and perfect word of God for over 1400 years, as God promised to preserve it till the last day for all of humankind…." (Mufti A.H. Elias, www.islam.tc, Isa/Jesus A.S.)

They may make this claim but we know this is not true. Our Lord Jesus has a problem with that He said:

"…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

So the conclusion is Islam is a religion that is opposed to Christianity, and to Christ Himself and is therefore lost and its adherents are in need of salvation. Here's what some say.

"To kill Americans and their allies, both civil and military, is an individual duty of every Muslim who is able, in any country where this is possible." (Bin Laden, 1998)

"Most of the terrorists are Arabs, most are Muslims," Mr. Fisher continues. "The next war will begin with the Christians and the Jews on one side and the Muslims on the other side." (Global empathy: Will it last? from the September 17, 2001 edition, Christian Science Monitor)

"Islam is a universal and eternal religion." (http://islamicity.com/mosque/Muslim.htm)

Three of the five articles of Muslim faith are directly against what Christianity teaches.

1) Belief in one God Who has absolutely no associate with Him in His divinity.

3) Belief in God's Books, and in the Holy Qur'an as His Last Book.

4) Belief in God's Prophets, and in Muhammad (blessings of Allah and peace be upon him) as His Last and Final Messenger.

You can see the differences for yourself.

"Allah… He is the Creator of all human beings. He is the God for the Christians, the Jews, the Muslims, the Buddhists, the Hindus, the atheists, and others. Muslims worship God whose name is Allah. They put their trust in Him and they seek His help and His guidance." (http://islamicity.com/mosque/Intro_Islam.htm)

"As a result, Muslims find it hard to accept the distinction that Western cultures make between a person’s religious life and the rest of their life.

Muslims think such a distinction is entirely wrong. They believe that not only individuals, but also the institutions of society should serve Allah." (http://www.alhambraproductions.com/shop/htm/islam2.htm)

"He is God, the One God, Independent and Sought by all; He begets not, nor is He begotten, and there is none like unto Him. (The Holy Qur'an Chapter of Sincerity of Faith)

"Say: we believe in God, and that which was revealed unto us, and that which was revealed unto Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which was vouchsafed unto Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord; We make no distinction between any of them, and unto Him we have surrendered. " (The Holy Qur'an 3:84)

"Islam presents human beings with a simple twofold invitation: to witness that there is no god but God Almighty; to witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God. This declaration is the door to a life of service, and to participation in a community of believers whose highest duty is to call humanity to embrace what is righteous and good, and to reject what is evil and degrading. Muslims are sisters and brothers of all people of true faith, and wish to strive with them for peace in this world." (http://islamicity.com/mosque/Islam_Expl.htm)

"Said Ibn Warraq, a speaker at the conference on Islam sponsored by the Council for Secular Humanism at the Capitol Hilton. "It was taken from the Koran, the Hadith [additional sayings of Muhammad] and Islamic tradition. Western liberals, especially humanists, find it hard to believe this. The trouble with Western liberals is they are pathologically nice. They think that everyone thinks like them, including the Islamic fundamentalists." (http://www.washtimes.com/national/20030413-152342.htm)

"Islam, however, is a proud faith with a glorious past. From its 7th-century roots in Arabia with the Prophet Muhammad, it had by the 11th century fostered a civilization advanced in art, science, medicine and military prowess. In 1187, the warrior Saladin, confirmed by the Baghdad caliph as sultan of Egypt and Syria, defeated European Crusaders in the Holy Land… Indeed, as the splendor and power of Islam faded after its zenith, much of the Islamic world was colonized by Western powers, and 20th century decolonization left behind much poverty, many despotic governments and autocracies -- and a residue of rage. But "I get very concerned when I see a U.S. official, or Cohen, saying this is a war between us and militant Islam. It's very difficult to keep the separation." Such rhetoric, he worries, could promote a "clash between religions or civilizations." Look," he says, "I don't think you'll see mass conversions" to militant Islam. "Unlike communism and Nazism, radical Islam doesn't offer anything that works. It has no viable alternative model for economic development or governance. "It's messianic and utopian and very dangerous . . . a view of the world that can be tremendously cruel, particularly to women."

In the deserted emergency ward, Mohammed Suleiman hysterically looked for his 8-month-old daughter, Rowand, brought in after a bomb her brother unwittingly brought home exploded. Still, the volunteers intoned the Muslim prayer in unison: "There is no God but God and Muhammad is his prophet." Suddenly, a burst of gunfire rang out, followed by what sounded like a tank shell. A few minutes later, the volunteers brought in an unconscious man, bleeding from the mouth and nose.

"Amu, Amu, can you hear me?" one man shouted, using the Arabic word for "uncle." "Please say 'There is no God but God and Muhammad is his Prophet,'"

In the hospital emergency room, meanwhile, Suleiman, 47, recalled the explosion that killed his baby daughter. He said his eldest son Seif brought home a device that exploded when he tried to examine it. Suleiman said he was convinced the explosive was an American cluster bomb and his grief soon turned into anger.

"I'll kill an American one day. Perhaps not today, but maybe after 10 years," he said. (USA TODAY, 4/11/03)

In a Washington Times article by the Associated Press reports a man in Iraq says, "We will never allow them to stay…whatever Saddam has done he is a Muslim and we area Muslim nation."

"Anwar, a 14 year-old Iraqi child, asked this reporter: "When will it be safe? When will we have a government? Are we going to have a Muslim government?" "That’s what we want," he added, "because we are Muslims."

And now they want a Muslim state in Iraq.

"Large protests have made it clear that many Iraqis want the United States out of the country as soon as possible. In the biggest protest since U.S. forces toppled Saddam nine days ago, tens of thousands of Muslims poured out of mosques and into the streets of Baghdad on Friday, calling for an Islamic state to be established." (MSNBC Web Site 4/19/03)

"Some protesters carried banners that said, "Leave our country. We want peace," and many raised their right fists and chanted, "America is God's enemy."" (Excite News 4/19/03)

There are three things that move many of the middle ground and extreme Muslims to fight against the United States and Israel.

  1. There incompatibility with Christianity and Judaism.

  2. America's foreign policy especially in the Middle East.

  3. America's support for the nation of Israel.

Important: Understand that the nice picture and peace loving Muslims may not be out to kill Americans, but sooner or later if they read their "kooky koran" they will began to have an inner struggle to obey or to compromise and they hate to compromise. The middle road and radicals have already come to that discovery and the need to fight against us.

Don't be fooled!

Thinking Everything is Alright

To express an opposing view of something right is dangerous. It fosters rebellion and opens one to a critical thinking pattern cultured in error and without conviction. It's the liberal, inane thinking individual, liberal democrat, progressive dumb down individual, and completely loyal lemming to stolid and contorted reasoning that are in the way; not the other way around—those with correct and right reasoning and thinking.  Again don't be fooled by errors, cults, false teaching, liberal media, and politicians with secret motives. Understand and think. Think about things with logical reasoning. Don't follow the crowd. Follow truth especially the Truth Jesus Christ.

Here is an example of someone who is totally misinformed and misguided.

"A British woman who came to Iraq acting as a human shield, expressed shock at the speed of the collapse of Saddam's authority, and said 'Iraq was free until U.S. led troops arrived.'"

Why are some people able to look at the evidence and conclude truth. While others look essentially the same evidence and reach the opposite conclusion? There are two networks in the brain one deliberate the other natural. There is reactive and rational. Reactive would be "go get them and bring our troops home." The other is "why are we there?" God has given us all these thinking processes. He has instilled right and wrong. However, our thinking can be clouded by upbringing and wrong teaching which is why people believe wrong things and say wrong things. Don't be one of them.

A final note on the idea of defeating terrorism. Defeating terrorism is defined today as those "…committed by groups in order to intimidate a population or government into granting their demands." Most of the individuals committing terrorism are of the "radial Islam wing" but they can be others. However, the radical Islamic groups commit most of the terrorism. Defeating terrorism will never happen—in the effort to give freedom of religion you continue to give license for people of Islam to engage in Jihad (holy war) why? Because in Islam and its followers there is the mandate to destroy all those not Muslim also called unbelievers.

They will as long as they believe in Islam be trained, exhorted, and led to do this. They desire they whole world to be Muslim. Just as we desire the whole world Christian.

Look at most Muslims that are not American they're angry at everyone except other Muslims. If you talk with a American Muslim, not of Arabic decent, here in America they seem angry at everyone not Muslim and have a special hatred for Christianity! That is because they are at odds with everything they know here in America and Islam is teaching them to, "And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers." (Quran, the cow chapter, 2:191)

The Bible never tells us to kill the unbelievers, but to convert them in Jesus name!

Amen?

God bless!
