Welcome!

We do pray that the Articles here will be helpful to you and bless you.  The Scriptures, information, and ideas contained here are a humble attempt to bring all to the glory God. We pray that this site would help you grow in your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ and drive you to God, the Lord Jesus, and the Bible. One principle to remember is, compare everything with the Scriptures. Check everything with the Scriptures. It’s important to remember the Spirit will guide us into all truth. It is God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible that will conform us to right thinking. It is right thinking, which produces right belief, and in turn produces right actions.

Who are the people behind this site? We’re simply born-again believers in Christ.  We started doing house church in 1991. After the Lord showed my wife and I the denominations were faithless and teaching error. We endeavor to present articles and messages from God and the Bible, and on what God graciously shows us.  God is to be greatly valued and the Bible as the ultimate authority that God designed for us. We humbly endeavor to speak and teach from nothing but the Bible. Our words mean nothing unless it is originated from the Holy Spirit and the Bible. Pray, believe God, follow Jesus, listen to the Holy Spirit, read your Bible, and study your Bible.

Why is this site so simple? Well, what’s wrong with simplicity?  We choose not to have all the bells and whistles that only distracts from the point God wants to make with us—to focus on Him and the Scriptures. Other blogs and sites have ads, photos of the author, thousands of links and many times endless nonsense that makes getting down to the “stuff” almost impossible. We focus more on content (mostly the Bible) then on ads, links, and puerile distractions.

We stress reliance on the Holy Spirit and common sense. Using these two as you study will help you. God wants us to, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)

So, have you been struggling for a place to find solid quality teaching? Are you frustrated with the lack of depth in your growth and walk with our Lord? Are you constantly asking yourself “I wish I could find a good fellowship to attend?” Are you tired of hopping from church to church? Are you stuck in a dismal denomination only to find false teaching and error? This is a frustration of many.

As believers we have the Holy Spirit and the Bible to understand truth. Those that are filled with the Spirit and walking in Him will know truth when it is presented to them. When you read the Scriptures over and over again you become familiar with it, as the Holy Spirit guides you, and you understand more. You will not need the approval of men.

The true called out ones are to teach, encourage, equip, and to be a witness in the world. To send out the truth (which is being diluted by many today) locally, statewide, countrywide and worldwide. To spread the gospel, and be a witness in society of the presence of true Christianity—faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

What are the goals? To encourage and challenge believers in their walk with Jesus--that following Him is most important. To declare the gospel to non-believers.  The mission of Jesus, and what we’re commissioned to declare, is the plan of salvation given from God–man is hopelessly lost in sin and there is no escape; except through the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:18)

You must understand there is nothing you can do to earn salvation. It’s a free gift.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8,9)

The joy of understanding and receiving Christ brings great benefits!

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1)

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:8-10)

The point is to always glorify Jesus Christ. Teaching a return to Scriptural (Biblical) basics, proclaim the truth and faith found in it to those that would hear, and to prepare believers for the end times ahead. This is important in the world today where almost anything goes in Christian circles. We hold the Bible in high regard. We pray you will be strengthened and challenged by the Scriptures. Because they’re needful and powerful instructions for believers in these last days. It’s important as the Scriptures do teach us to “…teach no other doctrine.”

We believe “doing our homework” is important to provide our brothers and sisters with truth from the Scriptures. We’re constantly adding information. It takes careful prayer and study to teach a topic. Remember read the Bible prayerfully, carefully, and read it everyday! We’re committed believers desiring to live as directed by the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures.
