Where is George Harrison? Those that are spiritually minded will ask that question, and depending upon whom you ask, you might get a number of different answers. George Harrison died of cancer on Thursday November 29th 2001. He was born in 1943 he was 58. A death is always difficult and we do pray for the family at this time.

But the real question is where is George Harrison? At a time when people will start running around saying, "Oh, George was a good man" and "He was such a gentile and quiet person very good man." We need to understand the truth of the whole matter. The truth for George, and anyone else that does not have Jesus Christ as their savior, is they will end in Hell when they die. This is not a very good thing to say but it's true. The Holy Scriptures say.

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:18)

"And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." (1 John 5:20)

"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." (1 John 5:11,12)

"But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." (John 20:31)

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

What was said of George Harrison?

"Harrison, long a devotee of Hinduism, was due to make his final return to India for an ancient ritual that Hindus believe would allow Harrison's soul to begin its approach to heaven." (CBS News, A Very Private Moment, December 4, 2001)

"Harrison's widow, Olivia, and his 23-year-old son, Dhani, were to be accompanied by two Hare Krishna devotees who performed Hindu rites on Harrison's ashes with the family in London…." (CBS News, A Very Private Moment, December 4, 2001)

"The family wants it to be a private affair. It is the saddest moment of their life," said Kartu Das at the Hare Krishna temple, where devotees held prayers in honor of Harrison and chanted before his portrait…He was cremated hours after his death at Hollywood Forever Memorial Park, a cemetery worker said. He was dressed in traditional Indian robes and two of his closest friends, both Hare Krishnas, chanted quietly at his side, according to the Press Trust of India news agency." (CBS News, A Very Private Moment, December 4, 2001)

"Harrison, known as the "quiet Beatle," had a long, intensely intimate relationship with Indian music, religion and culture…London-based Hare Krishna devotee Mukunda Goswami introduced Harrison to the movement's founder, Srila Prabhupada. Harrison later donated one of his studios, spread over 14 acres in London, to the Hare Krishnas. In one of his most popular songs, "My Sweet Lord," Harrison chants Hare Krishna." (CBS News, A Very Private Moment, December 4, 2001)

"In 1966, after the Beatles had stopped touring, Harrison came to India to study the sitar with Ravi Shankar. Shankar, whom Harrison helped make famous during the Beatles visits to India, was present during Harrison's final hours in California. In 1967, Harrison introduced the other Beatles to the teaching of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and all four took up transcendental meditation in Rishikesh, another holy city in northern India, to study with the Maharishi." (CBS News, A Very Private Moment, December 4, 2001)

"Harrison was a devotee of the Hindu faith." (CNN, Harrison's ashes to be immersed in Ganges, December 3, 2001)

"Early morning is a very auspicious time for Hindus," he said. Das said the family wanted to make the ceremony "very private." (CNN, Harrison's ashes to be immersed in Ganges, December 3, 2001)

"Harrison was cremated in a cardboard coffin hours after his death in keeping with his Eastern faith…Das said Hare Krishna members had been praying "for the soul" of the musician who believed in reincarnation and was a faithful member of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, popularly known as the Hare Krishna movement." (CNN, Harrison's ashes to be immersed in Ganges, December 3, 2001)

"Harrison was the only one who remained a follower, and he visited India many times. The Hindustan Times reported Monday that he quietly visited Varanasi three months ago to bathe in the Ganges and pray at local Hindu temples. He used a false name, and no one was aware of his visit until he left, the paper reported. Harrison was also a devotee of India's Hare Krishna sect. In one of Harrison's most popular songs, "My Sweet Lord," the musician himself chants Hare Krishna." (CNN, Harrison's ashes to be immersed in Ganges, December 3, 2001)

"George Harrison's intimate relationship with Indian mysticism, music and Hinduism sent his wife and son on a pilgrimage to the holy Ganges River, where authorities said the former Beatles' ashes would be scattered before dawn today." (The Washington Times, Harrison cremated for Hindu river rite, December 4, 2001)

"It is a great loss to us," said Vrijendra Nandan, a spokesman for the New Delhi chapter of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness. "When he was leaving his body, our devotees were chanting songs of Krishna by his bedside." (The Washington Times, Harrison cremated for Hindu river rite, December 4, 2001)

"Hare Krishna followers in India on Tuesday awaited the arrival of the ashes of former Beatle George Harrison, a fellow devotee whose family reportedly planned to scatter his remains in the holy Ganges River. Officials of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness said that Harrison’s widow, Olivia, and their 23-year-old son, Dhani were to arrive in India on Tuesday and a ceremony was expected on Wednesday." (MSNBC, Harrison family wants private affair, December 4, 2001)

"[Harrison’s death] is a great loss to us," said Vrijendra Nandan, a spokesman for the New Delhi chapter of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness. "When he was leaving his body, our devotees were chanting songs of Krishna by his bedside. We give him all the credit for spreading our thoughts in Europe and the USA." (MSNBC, Harrison family wants private affair, December 4, 2001)

It's very clear that George Harrison was a devoted follower of Hinduism, and the International Society of Krishna Consciousness. What is it then that he believed?

"Hinduism has many deities. This is much like ancient Greek and Roman religions. The god Brahma is the creator of the world. The god Vishnu who preserves the world through his many incarnations. The god Shiva will destroy the world which will be rebuilt by Brahma. In their Rig-Veda Book, we find prayers to some 70 objects, each serving as a deity. The concept of god Brahma is similar to the concept of Trinity in Christianity. The Brahma is responsible for all workings of the world and everyone is a part of him. Different gods are viewed as different aspects of him. (polytheism) " (Basic Beliefs of Hinduism, http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Academy/7368/comp_hinduism.htm)

"Hinduism believes in body and soul. Your soul returns to your body after your death. This cycle repeats seven times according to some. Your status or caste in next life depends on your deeds of the previous life. This is called." (Basic Beliefs of Hinduism, http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Academy/7368/comp_hinduism.htm)

"Hinduism is a vast and profound religion. It worships one Supreme Reality (called by many names) and teaches that all souls ultimately realize Truth. There is no eternal hell, no damnation. It accepts all genuine spiritual paths -- from pure monism ("God alone exists") to theistic dualism ("When shall I know His Grace?"). Each soul is free to find his own way, whether by devotion, austerity, meditation (yog) or selfless service." (HINDUISM TODAY,1991)

"Hinduism is a mystical religion, leading the devotee to *personally* experience the Truth within, finally reaching the pinnacle of consciousness where man and God are one." (HINDUISM TODAY,1991)

"Hinduism believes that all souls are evolving toward union with God and will ultimately find Moksh, spiritual knowledge and liberation from the cycle of rebirth. Not a single soul will be eternally deprived of this destiny." (HINDUISM TODAY,1991)

"Hinduism believes that the soul reincarnates, evolving through many births until all karms have been resolved." (HINDUISM TODAY,1991)

"Hinduism believes that no particular religion teaches the only way to salvation above all others, but that all genuine religious paths are facets of God's Pure Love and Light, deserving tolerance and understanding." (HINDUISM TODAY,1991)

"The Hindus believe in many gods and goddesses...They also believe in reincarnation or rebirth which is largely determined by the deeds done by them in their earlier life." (http://pages.poly.edu/~ssinha01/religion.html)

"Hindus believe in karma - the law of cause and effect by which each individual moulds it’s own future through thoughts, word and deeds. Hindus believe in reincarnation, that the soul has not merely one birth on the earth but many through which it matures and evolves until all karmas are resolved." (http://www.malaysia.net/cybercom/selva_ganapathi/hinduism.html)

"Salvation comes through the realization that there is no duality. God is all-in-all, is all there is, and "that are Thou." (Upanishads)

George Harrison clearly followed the teachings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

"Be still and know that you are God, and when you know that your are God you will begin to live like Godhood…" (Meditations of Maharishi, p. 178)

"Transcendental Meditation is a path to God." (Meditations of Maharishi, p. 59)

All of what Mr. Harrison was taught and believed was a lie from the pit of Hell. Sorry, he was deceived by stupidity he was not very smart after all. Everything Hinduism teaches is contrary to the truth of God and Christianity.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

"Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead….Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4: 10-12)

"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." (Acts 16:31)

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27)

"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace." (Ephesians 1:7)

"I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am [he], ye shall die in your sins." (John 8:24)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9)

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name." (John 1:12)

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:36)

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour." (Titus 3:5,6)

"Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:24)

"For Christ [is] the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." (Romans 10:4)

This is very sad now that George Harrison is dead.

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27)

He did not understand.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

"I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am [he], ye shall die in your sins." (John 8:24)

Friends, the real truth is this.

"I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am [he], ye shall die in your sins." (John 8:24)

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:18)

"…and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:36)

"And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life." (Revelation 21:27)

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:15)

This brings us to our first and final question—where is George Harrison?

"…and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:36)

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:15)

"And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments…." (Luke 16:23)

Friends, don't let this happen to you. Cry out to God, the eternal God of the Bible, to save you! Beg for Jesus to have mercy on you and to make you one of His own!
