| Women in the Military?
1. It is against God's law.
"The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behaviour as becometh
holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they
may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, [To
be] discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word
of God be not blasphemed." (Titus 2:3-5)
"The civil law, as well as nature herself, has always recognized a
wide difference in the respective spheres and destinies of man and woman. Man is, or
should be, woman's protector and defender." (Bradwell v. Illinois, U.S.
Supreme Court, 1873)
"Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] according to knowledge,
giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the
grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered." (1 Peter 3:7)
If women fine themselves engaged in war of any kind she will be expected to
accept as part of her duty, that if captured, she may be shot and gang raped. You will be
told that this is the price of freedom that must be equally borne by men and women alike.
Not that a man can't be captured, shot, and tortured but it's against God's word and
nature itself for women to be war or in the military for that matter. Once again, it's the
feminist, liberal, largely democratic, sottish children that are behind this foolishness.
This is simply an emasculation of the modern man. It started as far back as the Old
Testament, and is always conducted when the nation or male population is reduced to
effeminate males.
"And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel
at that time. And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in
mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. And she sent and
called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the
LORD God of Israel commanded, [saying], Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee
ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun? And I will
draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots
and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand. And Barak said unto her, If
thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, [then] I will not
go." (Judges 4:4-8)
2. It's against nature.
Men and Women are different. If one can't see that they're blind. The
physical and mental conditioning of a soldier is not for women. What will a women do if in
the middle of a fire fight she needs to use the restroom to change a menstrual cloth?
"hold it, hold it! I'll be right back don't anyone fire a shot till I get
back."? It's ridiculous. Women have 55% of the muscular strength and 67% of the
endurance of men. Studies at West Point have identified no less than 120 physical
differences
We are to protect and defend women and children. Again, the ultra radical
feminist movement would have you believe different. No one would like to send a son into
battle, but in times of national crisis this is the price for freedom to be borne on the
backs of men not women. Men protect women. Men lead and women follow. This does not
mean domineering but leading to protect and guide.
"The main impetus nationally for this transformation of the military
comes from the Defense Advisory Committee On Women In The Services (DACOWITS). The charter
for this group (February 28, 1998) reads in part: "In carrying out its duties, the
Committee serves as a vital link between the civilian community and the Department of
Defense regarding the need for, and role of, women as an integral part of the Armed
Forces." Only feminist ideologues see a "need" for an androgynous society
in which women and men have interchangeable roles, but this is manifestly the course on
which our nation has embarked." (From Female Warriors and Feminized Men, Phil
Lancaster, April 15, 2003)
"To have women serving as soldiers on the battlefield is an
abomination in the eyes of God and ought to be an offense to righteous men and women. It
is an abandonment of the God-given order for society in which men are called upon to lay
down their lives in defense of their wives, their homes, and their country, so that women
can fulfill their primary calling to bear and nurture life. Christians ought to oppose
this modern development on principled, Scriptural grounds." (From Female Warriors and
Feminized Men, Phil Lancaster, April 15, 2003)
"It's not just combat readiness that is negatively affected by having
women in the service; there are broader social costs as well. Sending married women
overseas creates hardships for the husbands and children they leave behind. A married
woman soldier has two masters -- her husband and her commander -- and there is no doubt
about whose claim on her is primary when push comes to shove. So the God-given domestic
focus of a wife and mother is abandoned as she takes on the calling of national
defender." (From Female Warriors and Feminized Men, Phil Lancaster, April 15, 2003)
"And he said to them, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'Let
every man put his sword on his side, and go in and out from entrance to entrance
throughout the camp, and let every man kill his brother, every man his companion,
and every man his neighbor.'" (Exodus 32:27)
"Now the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai... saying:
"Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families,
by their fathers' houses, according to the number of names, every male
individually, from twenty years old and above -- all who are able to go to war in Israel."
(Numbers 1:1-3)
"When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war or be
charged with any business; he shall be free at home one year, and bring happiness to his
wife whom he has taken." (Deuteronomy 24:5)
"Your wives, your little ones, and your livestock shall
remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side of the Jordan. But you shall pass
before your brethren armed, all your mighty men of valor, and help them." (Joshua
1:14; cf. 6:3; 8:3; Judges. 7:1ff; etc.)
In addition to the uniform example of God's calling men to fight in battle
we also find references to the shame of women being involved in military-type action. When
a woman dropped a millstone from a tower onto the head of Abimelech, fatally wounding him,
"...he called quickly to the young man, his armorbearer, and said to him,
'Draw your sword and kill me, lest men say of me, "A woman killed him"
(Judges 9:54). Since women have no place in warfare, it is a shame to be killed by one.
"The mighty men of Babylon have ceased fighting, They have
remained in their strongholds; Their might has failed, They became like women; They have
burned her dwelling places, The bars of her gate are broken." (Jeremiah
51:30)
"Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of
your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table." (Psalm
128:3)
"For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not
deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. Nevertheless she will be
saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with
self-control." (1 Timothy 2:13-15)
"Therefore I desire that the younger widows marry, bear
children, manage the house, give no opportunity to the adversary to speak
reproachfully." (1 Timothy 5:14)
The tragedy is of feminized men who have abdicated their role as
protectors of women. Women do not belong in the military! Conscription of women into armed
services is anti-Biblical. It's against God's word. See Numbers 1:1-3, 20. Christian women
are not to serve in battle; not to be drafted, not to enlist. According to The Bible
armies are to be composed of men only. As Matthew Henry commented, "None were to be
numbered but the males, and those only such as were fit for war."
US Supreme Court disagreed, "ruled registration (and drafting) of
women was unconstitutional." That, said opponents, underscores vital importance of
defeating any move to exhume the so-called ERA. Guys, do you hide under the covers and
send you wives downstairs if you suspect a burglar is in your home? Would you say as
George Carlin parodied once "Do what you want to the girl but leave me alone"!
No, we must not and should not. The sad reality is men in our society today are being
trained to be silly feminine puppies. Men get a handle on your role! And you women support
him and shut up.
On average men are six inches taller and 30 pounds heavier and more
importantly has 42 percent more upper body strength, then women. The dirty little
secret in the service academies and our boot camps is that women are passed right along
with the men because of "gender norming" where the emphasis is on
"equal effort," not equal results. We are strongly convinced that the word of
God is true and that women must not be in the military.
For the love of our great God read you Bible, and you will see the truth.
Amen?
